225g butter

450g sugar

140g dark chocolate

5 med eggs

110g plain flour

55g cocoa powder

190/170 degree oven (non-fan/fan)

20 x30 cm lined tin


Melt the butter then add the chocolate and melt too, let it cool slightly then beat in the eggs and then stir in the dry ingredients.

Pour into the tin and bake for 30-35  mins until just firm but with a slight wobble in the middle
